Welcome to the recently launched web-site of UWAU, the governing body of University sport in Wales. Full details of UWAU and what it provides can be seen from the sections shown to the left, and any enquiries or input sent to the relevant Officer or Member on the Contacts section.

Due to the amalgamation of BUSA and UCS to form British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS), UWAU is undergoing a restructuring process. It is envisaged the group will sit within the wider organisation of "BUCS Wales" (to be confirmed) so as to incorporate stakeholders from sports departments and from Athletic Unions.
UWAU is however committed to work as it has previously until BUCS Wales reaches a point that it is constituted and ready to roll out. Please bear with us during this busy period of consultation and work between universities.
It is confirmed that UWAU will be sending teams to the 2010 British University Games in Scotland. Application forms for coaches and managers are available to the left
