The appointed person will be required to:
1. Chair up to six General Meetings, the Annual General Meeting as well as any Emergency meetings called, and ensure they are conducted in accordance with the UWAU Constitution.
2. Attend the six standard meetings of the BUSA Chairs Forum to represent Welsh Universities and their best interests. In the event the Chair cannot attend, the Vice Chair shall be obliged to attend.
3. Call Emergency meetings as set by the Constitution.
4. Liaise with the Secretary in organising meetings and agendas
5. Liaise with existing and potential sponsors to maximise this area and ensure any agreements are in place for the subsequent year including relevant events.
6. Co-ordinate the updates and developments on the UWAU web-site.
7. Organise and co-ordinate, along with the hosting AU President, the UWAU Handover Conference, ensuring its schedule briefs all incoming Members and Officers about UWAU and their roles within it.
8. Ensure that at the end of office, an incoming UWAU Chairman receives a comprehensive handover.

The appointed person will be required to:
1. To set the agendas for all UWAU meetings as listed below and post onto the UWAU web-site. Attend the six Standard Meetings, the Annual General Meeting, and any Emergency Meetings called, record the minutes of these meetings and upload onto the UWAU web-site within 14 days of the meeting.
2. Act as a point of contact for UWAU, report any incoming communication and action any outgoing communication decided by UWAU.
3. Co-ordinate the updates and developments on the UWAU web-site with individual responsibility for ‘About UWAU’, ‘Contacts’, and ‘News’.
4. Ensure that at the end of office, an incoming Secretary receives a comprehensive individual handover.
The appointed person will be required to:
1. Attend the six General Meetings, the Annual General Meeting, and any Emergency Meetings called, provide financial reports as requested and action any decisions made.
2. Calculate and issue affiliation fees to the member institutions as agreed by UWAU.
3. Keep accurate accounts of UWAU finances, issue invoices to debtors and process claims by creditors.
4. Present a Financial Report to the UWAU Annual General Meeting, including a Forecast Budget for the subsequent academic year.
5. To present final End of Year Report, audited by auditors agreed by U.W.A.U. Committee.
6. Ensure that at the end of office, an incoming Treasurer receives a comprehensive individual handover.
The appointed person will be required to:
1. Attend the six General Meetings, the Annual General Meeting, and any Emergency Meetings called, and act as a point of reference to provide guidance.
2. Attend any functions requested by U.W.A.U. Committee where representation is required.
3. Ensure that at the end of office, an incoming Senior Vice President receives a comprehensive individual handover.
The appointed person will be required to:
1. Attend the six General Meetings, the Annual General Meeting, and any Emergency Meetings called, report any matters regarding the Welsh Cup and action any decisions made.
2. Process applications for inclusion in the Welsh Cup and provide competition formats for UWAU approval.
3. Mediate on any matters concerning disputes.
4. Co-ordinate the updates and developments on the UWAU web-site with individual responsibility for the ‘Welsh Cup’ section.
5. Provide an estimated budget for the Welsh Cup Finals Day.
6. Liaise with the institution selected to host for the Welsh Cup Finals Day, and ensure all arrangements are in place.
7. Ensure that at the end of office, an incoming Welsh Cup Co-ordinator receives a comprehensive individual handover.
The appointed person will be required to:
1. Attend the 6 General Meetings, the Annual General Meeting, and any Emergency Meetings called, report any matters regarding National Teams and action any decisions made.
2. Assist the UWAU Committee in the recruitment of volunteers for National Team Managers/Coaches positions.
3. Inform successful / unsuccessful applicants of election results for National Team Manager / Coach Positions.
4. Liaise with National Team Managers and National Team Coaches.
5. Liaise with BUSA and National Governing bodies on any matters regarding National Teams.
6. Provide estimated budgets for events involving National Teams.
7. Ensure Welsh Universities nomination forms are distributed by AU Presidents in order to ensure all individuals within Welsh Universities are given the opportunity to attend trials and selections.
8. Attend any tournaments requiring a National Teams Manager.
9. Update and develop the ‘National Teams’ section of the UWAU web-site.
10. Maintain and update an inventory of kit and National Team Equipment
11. Ensure that, in the event of standing down, an incoming National Teams Manager receives a comprehensive individual handover.
Applicants for the above position must submit a nomination form (which can be downloaded from this site), to the UWAU Secretary prior to the Annual General Meeting. Appointment is subject to an election by the UWAU Committee at the UWAU Annual General Meeting, where the majority vote will ratify a successful election
